HELLLLLO FOLKS!

Hiya Folks!
I've been bored as of late, so I thought I'd stop by and say ELLO! How is everyone and their respective moly's going/doing? Anyone see the new cahiers that came out recently? DUDE, I was uber surprised when my DH brought me home a stack of the new large red cahiers! Best present ever. I haven't the slightest idea as to how ima break in these 3 new bad boys, but i was thinking of maybe walking around Kirkland and sketching random things that pop into my head. The only downside to drawin out in public is the mist and the sudden rain that comes in. Any suggestions as to what I oughtta do? I thought about just walking around and taking snapshots and drawing at home, but, well, it just doesn't seem AS fun as it SHOULD be.

What to do, what to do. ...hope you guys are doing well. I'm still waiting on a package from Lee, but hopefully it gets here soon.

smooooches folks!

  1. Hey Debbie...okay suggestions, let's see what if you give each book a theme? One could be for sketching people, one for, I dunno? setting or scenery and one of just pure imagination!! The pure imagination ones are my favorites because they can go some many different directions.

Lee's book is coming to you from Singapore so I'm guessing it's just slow moving, it took Leanne's book more than a couple of weeks to get there, so I'm guessing it's just the post :) Nothing we can really do about that.

  2. Hi Debbie, new books what a treat. I cant think of a better present. What about dedicating one book to you home, family and favouite belongings, Im trying to get the time/inspiration at the moment to draw my house from every possible angle, loved ones and cheeky little critters like the one sitting on my lap at the moment nudging my hand off the keyboard and onto the top of her head, gggrrrr...

How great would it be to get old one day and look back at the places you've lived, treasured pets and the people in our lives at that time.

I'll probably never get around to it, but it makes for a good idea me thinks.

Kelley - Im afraid I didnt quite finish your book over Easter, the reef was calling to me to go snorkelling and visit all the crazy fish looking fish out there. And as fate should have it, I should have stayed home to finish it off! I was a really rough boat ride out there, many seasick travellers ewwwwww, and the visibility wasnt that great. Im finishing it off now and will scan for you soon... I promise!!
